I consider myself a late bloomer. I enrolled in my first oil painting class shortly after I moved with my husband, from Western New York, to the Texas Hill Country, in 2005. It was not until I retired from a career in Administration in Higher Education, that I began to focus more on painting, taking classes on a regular basis and experimenting with different media.

At this time in my life, painting is an integral part of who I am. This has led me to create tXn Art so I can share my work.

Most of my inspiration comes from living in the Hill Country, with its amazing sunsets, expansive landscapes, and wonderful wild life that surrounds us. I also like to use places from my travels as inspiration.

More recently, I have embraced the freedom created by more abstract styles in acrylics, including pourings.
